The season of Christmas, music, and celebration is just around the corner and that means only one thing – stupid outfits, a cake load of make-up and it’s behind you. Yes, the pantomime season is coming very soon and like every year, there is a whole wad of celebrities that have lined up to be a part of this year’s shows all around the UK. So just like marmite, you probably love or hate these shows, but let’s have a look at some of the people that you could see this year in a theatre near you!
Aladdin – Birmingham, 19th December – 31st January
Marti Pellow, Julian Clary, Lee Mead, Mack Slack
It wouldn’t be a pantomime without a musician, a reality television contestant and someone who is a comedy genius and can bring the camp to the show!
Peter Pan – Glasgow, 12th December – 3rd January
David Hasselhoff, The Krankies, Michelle McManus
Hasselhoff is slowly invading the UK a little bit each and every year and so seeing him appear in a panto may be the one way you will want to see him, with all the cheese a panto can bring this may make the experience that little more enjoyable.
Cinderella – Plymouth, 18th December – 16th January
Gok Wan, Paul Zerdin
Why have just a Cinderella when you can have a zazzy and stylish one that’s right your style guru Gok Wan will dazzle you senseless in this panto as he is playing the Fairy Godmother so you can expect that the dress will def go with that ball! Also, Gok will be joined by the mopst recent Americas Got Talent winner Paul Zerdin who will be joined with his sidekick!
Jack and The Beanstalk – Swansea, 11th December – 10th January
If you are looking for an all dancing, all round entertaining and very camp character to get you through panto then this is the show for you! Expect the unexpected to definitely happen
