Each week we will not only be providing you with some of the genres of show available at the Fringe we are also going to do a ‘Comedian Focus’ section which will take an in depth look at a certain comedian playing at the Fringe. This week we will be talking about – Paul Merton .

About: If you are a fan of have I got News For You, then this face will look very familiar to you. As well as being a familiar face on the current affairs panel show, he is known for being one of the regular guests on the the television show Whose Line is It Anyway. He has constantly been a member of the Comedy Store Players London Improvisation Group and nore returns to the Fringe this year with his show Paul Merton’s Impro Chums.
He has performed every year at the Fringe since 2008 with this group and if you are a fan of improv, or just plain silliness then this is the show for you. It has had shining reviews each year and bring down the house with laughter. The group is made up of Paul Merton, Suki Webster, Richard Vranch, Lee Simpson and Mike McShane.
