+ The computers on the Dunder-Mifflin office were wired to the internet and cast members have admitted that when they are in the background of scenes they are often checking emails or looking on the web.

+ Steve Carrell only watched a few minutes of the British version before permanently stopping viewing as he did not want to copy Ricky Gervais’ performance.

+ Some of the footage in the opening titles was filmed by John Krasinski and his friends in their jeep.

+ Jenna Fischer kept Pam’s engagement ring after the show finished.

+ The Office’s address is 1725 Slough Road – Slough is where the UK version takes place.
