If you are looking for a book that mixes comedy with geography then this is the book for you. Based on the popular Sky One show, Moaning of Life, the book takes an in depth look at the adventures of Karl Pilkington goes on in the show.
It does not matter whether you have watched the show or not, as a stand alone book it reads really and if you are a fan of the show it goes really in depth.
The book looks at topics that effect the way that we live our life such as time, waste, art and how to live your life.
This book also could be defined as not for the faint hearted as he goes on to discuss some pretty disgusting topics as he explores each of these areas. This includes decorating dog poo being sick in the name of Art, diving into waste river in Mexico for the waste topic plus many many more.
This book is a lighthearted look at some of the worlds most bizarre hobbies such as extreme ironing and bandaging and ways to live your life out there. Whilst it’s interesting to read about different types of geographic people it’s also quite disgusting in places.
Karl is a really good writer so if you don’t fancy reading about the gross things then maybe you should start with a Moaning of Life instead.
