This final part of our look at some of the best songs of 2016, here are the final ten and some would say we left some of the best until last.

21 Don’t Threaten Me With A Good Time – Panic! At The Disco, May

This year the band released their long anticipated album Death of A Bachelor and did really well with the critics as it was different and really stood out from the crowd. The videos that went along with the singles as creative and went viral for being different and this was one of them that did.

22 This Means War – Marianas Trench, May

Its been a crazy year for this Canadian Rock band, whilst they still are one of the biggest bands on their home turf, their first ever European tour sadly had to come to an abrupt ending this year when lead single Josh Ramsey fell ill with a real bad case of laryngitis.

23 Hype – Dizzee Rascal feat Calvin Harris, June

This was a song that burst us all into the summer vice with its electronic beats and great drops. It was released as a promotional single and was available for digital downloads. Even though it wasn’t released as an official single it still did ok in the charts with its highest position being number 2 in new Zealand.

24 Bang Bang – Green Day, September

Another band that returned to the music scene this year after a long wait from the fans, the American Punk Rock Kings returned with their catchy little Number Bang Bang whilst also announcing a world tour for 2017 and touring the USA for the rest of the year!

25 Singing In The Rain – Simple Plan, April

Another band that fans have been waiting years to release a new album did this year and to no disappointment. Simple Plan released their new album Taking One For The Team near the beginning of the year and this was the third single from the album. It Had that catchy tune that Simple Plan singles tend to do ok in the USA and canada charts.

26 Night People – You Me At Six, September

The British Rock band returned to the music industry with this corker of a single this year with the album of the same name set to released at the beginning of 2017. This year the band have been on a mission to stop ticket touts and are trying to get the Government involved and also selling tickets to the fans faces to make sure that everyone gets a chance to see them for a reasonable price.

27 Make Me – Britney Spears, August

Another pop princess that returned to the music scene this year was Britney Spears and she returned with a controversy and this one was all about the music video. it had to be remade as the original came across as too raunchy for Britney so changed it to something a bit tamer.

28 Work From Home – Fifth Harmony, February

This single hit the chart records back in February of this year when it reached number 4 in the charts in its thirteenth week as it became the first top five single in the USA for ten years, the last single that had this was from The Pussycat Dolls

29 I’m So Humble, The Lonely Island, May

If there is one band that know how to do a parody it is the guys from The Lonely Island and this year they released a film called Never Stop Never Stopping about the life of a popstar. This is the song that was released to run alongside the film release and was even performed live on American Idol.

30 Hold up – Beyonce, September

if anyone is going to revolutionize the music video its going to be Beyonce and she did this in the middle of this year with the 45 minute visual album called Lemonade and got everyone wondering who Becky with the really good hair was. She also performed at the SuperBowl and really got the whole world talking about her left right and centre.
