If there is one comedian that keeps rising from the stepping stones of the comedy circuit, it’s James Acaster.

2016 was a great year for James – a sold out stand up tour, wrote a sitcom for the BBC about Jury Duty and got his fifth nomination at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

It looks like 2017 is going to be an even bigger year for the comedian as he is now reaching out to the book world and is releasing a book called Classic Scrapes.

For anyone who was a fan of Josh Widdicombes XFM show, they will know some of the stories that James has been put through his life that are things of comedy gold that comic actors such as Steve Carrell and Jason Bateman would probably kill for some of these storylines for their films.

The book is set for release on 24th August of this year and is set to have a mix of both old and new Scrapes probably including “cabaging” and hiding in a bush In a dress to keep warm. One thing for sure is that old and new fans are in for a laugh.
