Today we look at a band that was around when the likes of Backstreet Boys and N*Sync were in their prime but they never caught on as well as them – Take 5.
The band Take 5 were made up of brothers Ryan and Jeff Goodell, Tilky Jones, Stevie Scunthorpe and TJ Christofore and were formed in 1997. All the members of the band were in different areas of the Entertainment industry before they were put into the boyband including TJ being Gavroche in Les Miserables on Broadway.
The band released singles throughout 1998 and 1999 and their debut album was released in 2000 called Elektra. The album at 26 in the Billboard chart. The band disbanded when there was contract issues with Pearlman that could not be resolved.
